## Planning Your Base A good base starts with location. Prioritise: - **Treeline cover** over open fields - **Distance from roads** — roads bring traffic - **Multiple escape routes** — never build in a dead end ## Gate Configuration Always use a double-gate airlock system. An attacker who breaches the outer gate still faces your inner gate — buying you reaction time. ## Storage Optimisation Use crates over barrels where possible — higher capacity per square metre. Label everything. A disorganised base costs you time in firefights. ## Raid Hardening - Bury your most critical storage underground - Keep a decoy crate near the entrance with low-value loot - Never store vehicle keys in the base itself
